On warmer days, a picnic between the sand dunes is tempting – some measure up to 60 feet. The wreckage of The SS Francia, a 700-ton steam-powered Argentinean coaster, can also be spotted just offshore at low tide. Visitors should be careful not to be cut off by the tide if they do venture into the cave. Inside, a natural spring flows through a pink and green-tinged grotto, weathered with calcium deposits.
